A complete denture is needed when all of the teeth in the upper or lower jaw are missing. In order to restore your ability to eat, chew, and speak properly, a customized prosthesis is fabricated for each patient. The denture will fit the shape of your mouth by sitting on the soft gum tissue of the mouth that covers the bone ridge.
When teeth are missing, the gum and bone may deteriorate. To prevent your denture from becoming loose and uncomfortable, you will need to revisit our office on a periodic basis to check the fit of your denture.
As shown in the video, dental implants can also be used to make a denture more secure and comfortable.
